A trip to Chicago, I know when my 12 year old gets a bit older and sees this picture he's going to feel a bit embarassed. But what are parents for? It's better than a bath time picture! 
To make the best of the beginning of my "suspension" we took a trip to Chicago, the first trip with the kids and Kristina. We had a great time, Emily pole danced, and our subway trip was 50% on bus. Don't ask.. Maintenance on the track issues. Was a beautiful and warm trip, I discovered how much I love IHOP blueberry pancakes, and that I can fall asleep in a chair covered with a towel! Don't ask.. Long day.. Hopefully again we'll be able to all take that trip again, or maybe a trip to Detroit. It is nice to be able to have time to make memories that hopefully the kids won't see as when "daddy was worried about losing his job" but as a fun experience.
