Back when a Coke was a Coke..

Well, this is the most current picture of em, as seen in the Chicago trip post, they are getting to be monsters, and quite the attitudes of their own. Kenny is all into WWE and everything to do with that, although I think it's the Diva's that are catching his attention the most.. Kristina is into Hannah Montana and all the little girl stuff. I know I am blessed to have two of the most well behaved (in public) kids, but it's amazing to see the two personalities that they take on. Kenny is so much more like his mother, while Tina is my mirror image but only 7 years old. I fear for the future with her... Reminds me, I have to buy some more ammo.. :) Also in the pic is little Emmy, my neice, 2 y/o. Quite the enjoyable handful at some times, and quite interesting to watch her mom (aka Big Kristina) as she adapts to the continuing changes.

This is Kristina (Little T, aka Tina, aka Mirror image of daddy) when she was about 2 y/o she was learning how to dance with her brother, well, maybe not dancing, hopping was more of a realistic term.. I was workin 72 hour weeks during this phase, and although at the time, it seemed like I was living life, looking back, all I see are pictures of small amounts of time I actually did LIVE my life.

Here's Kenneth (aka Kenny, or Brat) and Tina up at the lake.. Kenny was learning how to swim, and Tina was afraid of the water. They have both since continued on that trait, although Tina is doing much better in our pool now. She will swim underwater all the way across. Kenny, he's just a dolphin in the water, like his dad. I've always enjoyed water, swimming, and anything to do with it, so I guess he does have a few of my traits!

Here's a shot of Kenny when he was about 6 1/2 I would guess, a bit of a sunburn goin on even with the SPF 1 million that we used. He didn't really like to swim at this time, more going down, getting into the water to his knees, and then coming back and getting the towel sandy. It happens!

Here's Tina Sioux (2 ish), Lake Michigan had frozen and the ice cap was pushing onto the lake. I thought it was a nice backdrop for a picture. It wasn't all that cold that day if I recall, but then again, I was over working and it could have been -90 and I would have been happy to just be out of the workplace.
It is nice to look back on the innocence, the pure joy of childhood and younger years, although it brings us back to the reality in which we are now. Life is good, however with the uncertainty, things could be better, however I realize, they could be much worse. I read a saying last night, I don't remember the latin translation, but I enjoyed the verse, so i shall end my post with it. If it is peace that you seek, prepare for war.
