Random Chaos-End of the school year!

Emily showing her appreciation on the 80 degree weather, and lack of air conditioning. The continued talking and talking and talking by the principal just kept getting more and more boring. I almost joined her down there, but might not have wanted to get up!

There's Kenny on the far right, with his award for 6 years of Perfect Attendance. The only recipient of that award this year. Tina Sioux missed her perfect attendance this year by 1.5 days due to the flu. Kenny did get promoted on to 6th grade, so now I am the proud (scared) father of a middle schooler. Kenny was also glad to make it through and get passed to the next grade, so he could have all of his wrestling toys and PS2 and games back, that were put in my room due to less than perfect grades..

Here's Emmy and Kristina, I think Emmy was thanking Kristina for getting her away from that stupid awards ceremony! That or it was Emmy's way of congratulating Kristina on moving on to the 6th grade. Kristina did a lot of homework helping with Kenny while I was working all of the time, and because she was more level headed most of the time, he would ask her for help. It was cute, Emmy would run over and kiss her mom, and then run back for her "uncle wob stair time", the time that we normally set aside to sit on the staircase and talk about the days events. Most of the time it involves juice, and learning "eyes, ears, mou, hair". It is nice to have at least one niece that I will get the chance to see as she grows up. I believe my brother has 5 children now, by 4 mothers, could be 6 and 5 now, but I can't keep track.

Here's Kristina Sioux, smug as a bug in a rug, sittin there not paying attention to the principal either! She did get an award this time, however it was for Relay for life, the first time she has failed to achieve perfect attendance. The whole system amazes me, how they push perfect attendance, but for a child to go to school sick, only spreads it, and makes them worse. But that would be in another rant of mine about political bull! Tina did get moved into 3rd grade now, she is happy to get her Hannah Montana stuff back that had been taken due to less than desirable grades.

Now it is time for Summer vacation. Why do they call it that, when it really is more work for the parents? It should be "fall vacation" when the kids go back to school!
The final stages of opening up the day care are coming along, and will hopefully be completed pretty easily and rapidly, so that is something to look forward to. I have been given an interview/testing date for Miami-Dade county Sheriffs department in July, but don't think I'll go there. Although I want to make sure I explore all of my options, I don't want to be looking too far into options I may not want to take. Although Border Patrol would have been on in texas or California for a while, there would have still been the opportunity to return to Michigan later in the career and work the Canadian border. Good old political shoot down there, so apparently it wasn't meant to be.
There are like a million things going on in my head right now, but I really don't know what to put down in 00's and 11's online.. I have to do some more studying though however for more testing that will be coming up, so that is probably what I shall do now. Or I shall continue to play around online wasting yet more productive time, because I can, and I enjoy it, and that is what life is about. Enjoying life, but realizing potential consequences from actions or lack thereof.
I have no words of wisdom to depart with, only this brief thought.
If you had the chance
