Well, any of you who know me, know that recently I have had enough going on that I needed a break from reality. So, I decided to take a road trip, without a destination in mind, I just hit the road. This Picture above is where the final battle occurred for Washington DC. There was a sign there that showed the attack routes, the formations, and everything about the battle. It was a great piece of history to be able to "happen" upon.
This is my DC hotel, I stayed in Washington DC for a few days, seen some interesting things, think i might end up on COPS, but that's a different story. And no, I wasn't being arrested, but i did get to see the boys in blue in action over here. It was right next to the McDonalds that is underground. Don't ask me. I didn't make it there!
This is the tall thingy. I keep getting told what it is, but on the other side is the reflection pond that forest gump ran into. I have a few more pictures of this that I'll post soon enough, but I'm falling asleep, or at least tired, so I'm just posting these pictures so far.
I don't know what this place is. Probably getting lost in town, my driver scared the crap out of me, so I took enough pictures to show that when I died that I was in the car!
This was my mode of transportation to and from. It made, makes, it much more enjoyable. Although right now I am somewhere in Ohio, but had to stop, because of the continuing storm fronts hammering me off and on. I'd take off my rain gear because it was 90 out, and then of course it would downpour again. UGH. This has been a very amusing trip, several things to see in DC, but even at 1 in the morning, when it's 80 degree's and humid, the walking is limited!
